However, I always feel like many are too willing to believe things, usually at the expense of more rational arguments.<\/strong> Take this story where a woman thinks her house is being haunted by a \u2018spunking ghost\u2019. Yes, you just heard that right.<\/p>\n

Mumsnet<\/h2>\n

In a post on\u00a0Mumsnet\u00a0, a woman, going by the username Chipshopninja, explained her reasoning for thinking her house was haunted.<\/p>\n

She wrote: “Of all the problems to have…<\/p>\n

“Last night my partner woke up around 1am because he heard our bedroom door open (it’s squeaky, needs some WD40 but that’s by the by).<\/p>\n

“He didn’t get up, expecting our son to tap him on the shoulder announcing he had had a bad dream, but nothing! He then heard the bedroom door close.”<\/p>\n

Her partner then decided to go and investigate what their son was doing.<\/p>\n

“Just outside our bedroom door he stepped in a large wet patch, he checked on our son, but he was fast asleep all tucked in under his duvet,” she continued.<\/p>\n

“He then went downstairs to check on the dog, which was fast asleep in the living room. So slightly bemused, he came back to bed.”<\/p>\n

The next morning her husband came up with the idea that it could have been a ghost ejaculating everywhere.<\/strong> Instead of asking if he needed help, she seems to have taken this idea on board.<\/p>\n

In an effort to explain it had to be spunking ghost, she clarified that her dog definitely couldn’t have caused it and there was no water leaking from anywhere. <\/p>\n

One equally \u2018interesting\u2019 person said: “Maybe your son was sleep walking and decided to pee outside your bedroom door? Although, a spunking ghost is definitely the most rational explanation.” <\/p>\n

However, it seems that others were not on board with this bizarre theory.<\/p>\n
